It gives me immense pleasure to introduce Department of HRM&OB. The Department offers MBA Programme besides PhD in HRM and PhD in Business Administration. The Post Graduate programme empowers the students to boost their professional skills. The PG programme nurtures the youth to cultivate business competencies while focusing on their self development and encouraging them to contribute to the society at large. It offers courses that enhance students’ interpersonal, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills and prepares them for business world be sides inspiring them to be a responsible citizen and staying socially relevant. This discipline focuses on imparting employability skills like critical thinking, data analysis and soft skills to develop students to be industry ready. It lays special emphasis on how to achieve emotional stability, stress management and overall well being. Programmes offered within the management discipline follow a student centric; technology enabled teaching-learning pedagogy that caters to the requirements of changing business environment and help the students in their learning endeavors.

The Department of HRM&OB is an industry oriented academic department which focuses on academics and research. The Department is poised to provide contemporary management knowledge to the students In addition to rigorous academic programs, the Department offers opportunities for the students to engage in hands-on experiences, internships, and research projects. The USP of the Department is two-time exposure to the industry to the students, one as a summer internship after the second semester; and another is the On-the-Job-Training (OJT). The fourth semester is dedicated completely to engagement with the industry for OJT. Through this unique feature, each student of the Department gets a placement opportunity while pursuing the degree. The wide exposure enables students to have good experience and understanding of the industry and make an informed decision for their final placement opportunities.
