The CUJAMMU ASTRO team from Central University of Jammu has been selected to
compete in the final round of the IN-SPACe CANSAT Student Competition-2024,
scheduled to take place from April 17, 2024, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Vice-Chancellor, Central University of Jammu, commended the team,
highlighting the significance of the IN-SPACe CANSAT India Student Competition in
fostering innovation. He emphasized the competition's role in providing students with a
platform to showcase their talent and creativity, which is crucial for honing their skills and
preparing them for the challenges of the space industry. Prof. Jain underscored the
importance of empowering the next generation of space enthusiasts and contributing to the
development of a self-reliant space workforce in India.
